MATERI PELAJARAN : Present Tense
Kali ini kita akan mempelajari bahasa inggris tentang kalimat present tense. Present tense adalah kalimat yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang aktivitas, fakta, dan kebenaran mutlak.
example :
aktivitas :
the man waters the plants every day (pria itu menyirami tanaman setiap hari)
fakta :
the cows eats grasses (sapi memakan rumput)
kebenaran mutlak :
the sun rises in the east (matahari terbit di timur)
rumus :
(+) S + Verb 1 (s/es) + O (Khusus she,he,it)
S + to be (is am are) + O
(-) S + am/is/are + not + O
S + do/does + not + O
(?) am/is/are + S + O
do/does + S + O
Berikut adalah contoh kalimat present tense :
(+) I am happy
(-) I am not happy
(?) am I happy
(+) She sings a song
(-) She does not sing a song
(?) does she sing a song
Tidak semua verb menggunakan (es) hanya verb yang berakhiran tertentu dapat menggunakan (es). verb yang dapat menggunakan (es) adalah verb yang berakhiran X, O, S, SS, CH. berikut ini adalah contoh verb yang menggunakan (es).
x : fix = fixes
ss : kiss = kisses
sh : brush = brushes
ch : watch = watches
o : go = goes
Berikut adalah contoh lengkap dari kalimat present tense :
